Balis is a company originally started in 1981 as a manufacturer of diagnostics for microbiological research in laboratories. We were soon asked to carry out microbiological tests for different industries like food, feed and cosmetic industries. In 2014 Balis was split in two companies: Balis laboratorium bv (production of diagnostics) and Balis Micro bv (microbiological and chemical analysis).
In 2018 these two companies became part of Ariana Holding GmbH.
Ariana Holding has been a constantly growing laboratory network of strong brands and specialized laboratories in Germany and the Netherlands since the end of 2013. The laboratories offer a wide range of services and do not end with the production of analysis results.
